January 18, 2020. When a couple decides to have a winter wedding in Buffalo, NY, they obviously want snow. But in Buffalo, contrary to popular belief, this is not always a certainty. For Sarah and Chris however, they scheduled their wedding on the right day! It started snowing early in the day and did not let up for most of the day. This gave us a wonderful opportunity to deliver some winter images Sarah and Chris so desired. Granted, it was not easy, but if everything were easy, everyone would do it! After their ceremony at Trinity Episcopal church in downtown Buffalo, we took the entire wedding party to Delaware Park where we could get some overhead cover from the snow falling at a structure in the famed Rose Garden. Everyone was a trooper dealing with the snow and cold and we were able to get some great winter wedding photos for the Bride and Groom. Their reception was held at a newer venue in Buffalo, 500 Pearl. It’s always exciting to shoot in a new venue and this was certainly no exception. The dancing was non-stop and all had a super time! Congrats to a great couple, Sarah and Chris. Nothing but love for these guys in their future together!
